Whether you’re a novice or experienced rider, you won’t want to miss out exploring Grand River Ranch mounted on one of our trusted horses or your personal horse. Grand River Ranch offers a variety of equestrian activities for families of all ages.
Guided Horse-Back Rides
Horseback rides offered from May 15 through October 15 depending on weather and surface conditions.
Seasonal Wagon Rides
For those who are not up to horseback riding, we offer a variety of wagon rides year round.

Horse camps for all ages from beginner lessons to advanced horsemanship to overnight camps.

Guided Horse Back Rides
Horseback rides offered from May 15 through October 15 depending on weather and surface conditions.
All rides are guided by one of our seasoned wranglers.
As safety is our number one priority, we cater all rides to the least experienced rider and no riding double.
Rides range from 20 minutes to 3 hours.
Lunch rides are available for a longer excursion into some of the deeper parts of the ranch.
Children 3-9 years old (depending on experience) can enjoy a shorter experience led by one of our wranglers or a capable adult.
Ages 10 and up can experience our diverse trail rides after a quick orientation on their horse and spending a few minutes in our outdoor arena to make sure you are matched appropriately with your animal.
Riding options range from $35 to $300 depending on the experience.

Seasonal Wagon Rides
For those who are not up to horseback riding, we offer a variety of wagon rides year round.
Our most popular ride is the feed wagon where we go into the herd and guests have a chance to feed the animals. We always make time for animal visiting, a bit of history, and treats for both the animals and humans.
Campfire, smores, and hot cocoa options available on all rides.
Owners can choose a personalized ride on their own parcel with cocktails.
Wagon ride options start at $35 per person.

We also offer horse camps for all ages from beginner lessons to advanced horsemanship to overnight camps.
Oftentimes, these camps transform the most novice riders into experienced cowhands who can help with anything from ranch chores to roping a practice dummy to completing our trail course.
