Stacy DeBell
Stacy is a second-generation Kremmling resident. She’s spent much time traveling and exploring the US, but calls Kremmling her home for the past 45 years. While in high school, she started working at Cliffview Assisted Living Center and enjoyed caring for the residents and cooking for them for seven years. In 2000, she began working with the Gallagher family cleaning their home on Grand River Ranch. As the ranch Lodge was being built, Stacy was hired to assist with developing the food and beverage department in 2001. After working two years under Chef Marilyn Kukudo, who taught at Cook Street School of Cooking, Stacy developed the skills to become the Lodge Chef in 2003.
She thoroughly enjoys getting to know the ranch owners and creating delicious, belly-filling meals for them and their guests. She appreciates her time traveling and has had some wonderful adventures both in and out of the country. In the summer, she loves time out on the lake with her paddle board and camping with friends and family. In the winter, she is likely curled up by the fire reading a good book. As she continues her journey at GRR, she enjoys photographing the beautiful sights and animals encountered daily. You will see many of her photographs hanging on the walls at the Lodge.
